Pedal into your next great story on a gravel bike adventure in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica, with a luxurious home base at La Paz del Caribe. Spend your days exploring tropical backroads and coastal gravel, rolling past cacao farms, jungle-lined lanes, and the surfy vibes of Playa Cocles before returning to your private oasis.
At La Paz del Caribe, you’ll unwind in elegant private villas surrounded by lush gardens, relax by the pool, and wake up to the sounds of the rainforest and Caribbean breeze. Between sunrise spins and golden-hour rides, you’ll have the perfect blend of adventure and indulgence. Ride hard, then come back to comfort and calm just minutes from the Caribbean Sea and the vibrant energy of Puerto Viejo.

If you choose not to ride, or simply want to take a rest day, there are incredible experiences to fill your time. Visit the Jaguar Rescue Centre, take a surf lesson, enjoy horseback riding along the beach, explore local shops and restaurants, wander endless miles of coastline, hike through nearby national parks, or simply relax by the pool with a good book.

8 nights at the luxury resort La Paz Del Caribe. Each couple will enjoy a stay in one of 5 private bungalow featuring an indoor/outdoor shower, full bath, and private patio. The resort is reserved solely for guests on this adventure.

Return ground transfer from Country Inn & Suites in San José to Puerto Viejo/Cocles (220 km), (including bike transportation)
