GROUP CLASSES

Due to COVID restrictions, all classes are offered live online only

How it works:

  • You purchase a 5-week all-access pass to attend as many of the 5 classes per week you would like. 

  • The Zoom link is the same for all 5 classes. Easy!

  • The classes are all live and recorded. If you miss a live class you have access to the complete class library 


Here's what you will need to have:

(we won't use all these things all the time but you will want to have access to them in each class if possible)

  • Yoga Block

  • Strap 

  • Spinal strip, if possible (I sell locally)

  • Blanket or towel, 2 would be best

  • Pillow or bolster

  • Theraband, those stretch elastic bands 

  • A wall space

  • A chair

  • Tennis or lacrosse ball

 

Therapeutic Yoga for Hips & Shoulders:

We will explore optimal ranges of motion for the spine, hips and shoulders to increase mobility and stability and to decrease pain. You will begin to understand how you may be moving with compensations in the body and how that can create excessive tension and possible pain. As you uncover some of these patterns and explore moving differently, you may find your pain is reduced and you are able to move with more ease. You will also learn how to cultivate relaxation through the exploration of breath.

Mindful Foundational Flow

 

This is an introductory level class that will explore movement (asana), meditation, breathwork (pranayama) & mantra (sacred sound). Mindful Strength Flow is suitable for all levels and abilities.

WHAT IS THERAPEUTIC YOGA?
Therapeutic yoga is a mindful and personalized approach to decrease stress, pain and tension. Therapeutic yoga uses a systematic approach utilizing a combination of yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditation to decrease or eliminate the pain you are experiencing. The process introduces the concept of moving well to unwind tension and increase stability and mobility. When you move better you will feel better.

 
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Your one-hour session will introduce you to concepts of pure movement. You will learn how to move in your optimal range of motion to decrease your pain and increase your stability. Starting slow is essential to the healing process so that new movement patterns can be developed for long term changes. After your session, we will customize a personal program that fits the needs and demands of your life.

 

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THERAPEUTIC YOGA?
Therapeutic yoga can benefit anyone who simply wants to feel better. No previous yoga experience required, just a willingness to feel better so that you can get back to doing the things that you love. This approach can help the following but is not limited to:
