WHAT IS THERAPEUTIC YOGA?
Therapeutic yoga is a mindful and personalized approach to decrease stress, pain and tension. Therapeutic yoga uses a systematic approach utilizing a combination of yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditation to decrease or eliminate the pain you are experiencing. The process introduces the concept of moving well to unwind tension and increase stability and mobility. When you move better you will feel better.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Your one hour session will introduce you to concepts of pure movement. You will learn how to move in your optimal range of motion to decrease your pain and increase your stability. Starting slow is essential to the healing process so that new movement patterns can be developed for long term changes. After your session we will customize a personal program that fits the needs and demands of your life.
